Najib has nothing to be afraid of…

Nobody is above the law commented Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar about the Anwar Ibrahim Sodomy case.
So using the new logic that "if you have nothing to hide, you should be as cooperative as possible", Najib might as well make an official declaration.
As a matter of fact there are now 2 or even 3 statuary declarations linking DPM to a murder-case, where with Anwar Ibrahim there was only 1 police statement linking Anwar to a sodomy case.
Is history repeating itself?
10 years ago the DPM was almost ready to become PM until a sodomy case got thrown at him.
Now DPM is almost ready to become PM until a murder-case get’s thrown at him.
Maybe it would be wise to practice a different strategy in future:
- anybody can be the new PM in stead of
- only the DPM will be the next PM.
The advantages are plentiful:
- you can concentrate fully on your job as DPM as a true servant of society
- you don’t get the big bazooka’s shooting at you all the time in any way imaginable
Or do like in Europe:
- organise general elections
- see which party or parties form a majority
- let them debate who will be the next PM
Quite different than in the US where you choose between Obama or McCain.
Different chronology than in Malaysia and it works quite well in Europe…
