siti nurhaliza bogelTo get Siti Nurhaliza bogel or to get Siti Nurhaliza to escort you in an hotel room, you will need to tip her RM 1500 (about $500).

A new way for tycoons to entertain themselves in Malaysia: they call a high class prostitution ring in Kuala Lumpur to spend some quality time in a 4 star hotel with “Siti Nurhaliza, Ella, Mila or Fasha”.

But the only stars they will see will be the stars of the hotel and not the real stars Siti Nurhaliza nor Ella nor Mila nor Fasha. Instead, these are code words used by the clients for the real women they will meet.

Ella Norzila: Malaysia’s hottest rock artist

These women are mostly single mothers and divorcees in their 20s to 40s and they earn between RM3,000 ($1,250) and RM5,000 a month.

The Selangor Islamic Religious Department officials, raided the hotel’s second floor last weekend in a two-hour operation finding more than 10 so called artists of which 7 locals and newly-divorced mothers.

The fake Siti Nurhaliza, Ella, Mila and Fasha were detained for "khalwat" which means being in illicit close proximity with an unmarried person of the opposite sex.

As usual it’s the girls that get detained and their bosses keep free.

I just noticed a comment that was never approved at my Siti Nurhaliza Datuk K post, asking me what I was trying to say actually?

The comment did point out that I was touching a hot topic, but also that I didn’t make my point very clear.

Talking about hot topics and gossip, that reminded me on Paula Abdul on American Idol who also goes on and on and on and in the end nobody knows what she was saying either…

But it wouldn’t be nice to start blogging like Paula is talking :-)

I wanted to point out 2 things:

  1. Siti was marrying a man who was hardly divorced. Being a westerner we know that people that divorce a woman and marry a few months later, most likely will divorce the new woman again. But here you could argue: well: this is Malaysia so your logic could be wrong. Ok, I rest my
    case here :-)
  2. Datuk K being successful yet only paying a bridal gift of RM 22.222… again for me as a westerner that sounds cheap. Especially if you are marrying the most successful female singer of the entire country. Being business minded myself, that just sounds like a good business deal for Datuk K.

Anyway, Siti was the first Malaysian singer I got to know when I arrived here, so I have kept an eye on her ever since. Because those days she was at the beginning of her career, and I was at the beginning of my stay in Malaysia. Siti surely became more famous than I did :-)

Being in the spotlight, Siti could have been a role-model. In my opinion, marrying to a man who is still in the process of being divorced is not setting a good example. But on the other hand: she is a singer, and she never claimed to be a role model.

Hope that clears a bit the confusion, if I am not clear again, please do leave a comment.

siti nurhaliza datuk kOf course with all the rumors going around that Datuk K is beating up his wife Siti Nurhaliza (Datuk K beats Siti Nurhaliza?), one could start wondering whether it really is a happy wedding anniversary?

The couple was married August 21 last year and one was wondering what cute and famous little Siti Nurhaliza was doing with married Datuk K in the first place. The guy has 4 sons that could well be Siti Nurhaliza’s brothers.

And what happened with her singing career? She was aiming for the starts but after her marriage it seems she hit the ceiling and has a massive headache. This headache could also explain that why there are still no babies 1 year after the marriage…
