Karpal Singh not allowed to sing in parliament

October 23rd, 2008 by MM2H

Seriously…

You don’t need serious argumentation to speak in Parliament anymore?

Today in Parliament one was debating about the government spending more than 100.000 Ringgit on a dinner with lawyers, trying to justify why.

According to the ruling party, “these kind of dinners are an effort to strengthen the relationship between the government and the lawyers. Only blind people would say that it is bribery…”

Now what has this got to do with blind people, I would like to ask the ruling party?

karpalKarpal Singh also saw that this kind of argumentation can’t be serious. Really, there are no facts stated and it’s as useless as saying that only a deaf person wouldn’t hear the benefits the ruling party was talking about…

Anyway, Karpal Singh is not a member of the ruling party, so he got suspended for 2 days.

However the person talking about blind people can still speak his mind no matter what…

It’s really fun to see how the Malaysian parliament conduct their things, it’s sad that in a period of enormous economical and political instability, one doesn’t talk about more serious issues with more serious arguments.

Raja Petra Kamaru

October 18th, 2008 by MM2H

raja petra kamaruRaja Petra Kamaru or Kamaruddin in full is still jailed under the Internal Security Act of Malaysia?

Why?

Because according to the Minister of Internal affairs, the words on the Raja Petra website could undermine the state’s security…

Really?

Raja Petra website

(malaysia-today.net)

How do you imagine a country that can get into instability because of the words of one man?

Does Raja Petra Kamaru has so much to say that a simple debate cannot solve it, or even an "all against Raja Petra Kamaru" debate?

What kind of country is afraid from one man speaking out from the crowd?

So how does such a country solve problems then when it doesn’t want its people to speak?

The problem is not solved because a government closes the mouth of Raja Petra Kamaru, sooner or later there will rise more than one RPK.

SAD

It’s sad that bloggers aren’t allowed to say what they want to say. Of course nobody can simply say everything, but there are laws in force to punish people for speaking badly about others and therefore damaging them.

But what damage has Raja Petra Kamaruddin done? The Raja Petra website had 10 million visitors a day, and still Malaysia is a stable country… so what is Raja Petra Kamaruddin doing in jail???

Bulk flip flops

September 25th, 2008 by MM2H

bulk flip flops

Syed Hamid introduces bulk flip flops in Malaysia. These bulk flip flops are entirely man made by through Malaysians who are handpicked under something called the ISA.

Where can I find bridal flip flops?

Taiping is the holy grail for bridal flip flops.

The ISA course will teach you in 60 days how to make the best flip flops in bulk.

But very good students don’t have to endure the whole 60 days: they can get straight away promoted by Syed Hamid to get an exclusive 2 year ISA flip flops contract based in the town that’s famous for all Malaysian bulk flip flops: Taiping.

How hard is the bulk flip flops course?

It’s not easy to succeed in the bulk flip flops course. And it seems men are better in making flip flops than woman. Just recently 3 new students were enrolled in the new course and were tested to produce their first pair of yellow box flip flops.

yellow box flip flops

Yellow box flip flops : more difficult than you think…

Of the 3 new students, 1 couldn’t even bare to finish 24 hours. She is now back at her old job reporting for the Chinese newspaper, and she says she is very happy with it.

The second student, a more mature woman lasted a few days longer in the ISA course. But after a few days it was clear she had done nothing, so she got kicked out without further reason given.

There is only 1 student still standing: Raja Petra: the voice of Malaysia. We all know raja Petra very well. He is the kind of person when he sets his mind on something, he just doesn’t let go and will make sure he succeeds.

Flip flop drink coasters

flip flop drink coastersWhat doesn’t feel better than looking at flip flop drink coasters to remind you on your last holiday in Malaysia?

Isn’t it great to be able to visit a country were all races live in perfect harmony without having to look further what’s happening underneath?

Now don’t start pointing your finger here, lots of "older" democracies have done similar things than what is happening now in Malaysia: a majority party sooner or later will loose its majority. And this change will make bursts and boozes that aren’t something to be proud of later on.

Just compare to US where president Kennedy got shot, Martin Luther King got shot and even President Reagan took a bullet, it’s all clear that politics is not something for the faint hearted… Nothing to be proud of either…

Why is Syed Hamid the king of bulk flip flops?

Just follow Syed Hamid’s ISA flip flops history from the last few days:

flip flopSyed Hamid claims that it is not his decision to issue the ISA but the government.

… Now Syed Hamid being Home Minister, makes him part of the government, isn’t it?

3 days later a flip flop:

flip flopsSyed Hamid says that the arrest and release of Teresa Kok is the entire work of the police. They do not have to ask me or inform me of their decision…

3 days later, his biggest flip flop:

Not convinced yet that Syed Hamid is the king of all bulk flip flops? Then read his latest action, because actions speak louder than words :

flip flopHome Minister Syed Hamid Albar confirmed that he had signed the detention order to jail Raja Petra under the Internal Security Act for two years.

So if you want to work under the king of bulk flip flops for 2 straight years in a row, then start blogging deep elaborated blogposts that concern all Malaysians.

Make sure you show 1 clear logic and don’t flip flop, because the king of bulk flip flops wants to remain king as long as possible no matter what.
