Many of us would have been aware of the worldwide spread of swine flu through the printed media and television.

Most of us have taken the necessary preventive steps to try to avoid getting infected by regularly washing hands and staying away from crowded places. Some of us have cancelled our travel plans that would have entailed spending time in crowded airports and airplanes, hence reducing the speed of the swine flu outbreak.

Tamiflu is an effective way of treating the swine flu and governments all over the world has been stockpiling this drug for their eventual use.

If you would like to ensure that you have a supply of Tamiflu, ask your local or national government for information as the demand for the drug has increased tremendously as the swine flu continues to spread worldwide.

Swine flu

Does it strike you that we don’t know about how this swine flu came along? And do you notice there is nothing done to prevent swines from having this flu?

Did you read or hear that when you contract the swine flu, you have to quarantine yourself and if possible use your own bathroom? Isn’t that a far cry from stuffing swines in too little cradles where they walk in their own litter and touch each other every second of the day?

Why do we get alarmed when a person dies from the swine flu, but we didn’t get alarmed from swines dying? Because part of the swine business are dead animals: just put a few more cramped in a small area, so who-ever falls death wont be frowned upon…

As long as humans don’t respect themselves nor their fellow animals on this planet, disasters as the swine flu will be "part of the business".

swine flu outbreak

First time we heard about the swine flu – Mexican flu – as it was called those days, my Mexican sister in law told us not to worry, as the flu only kills the poor people that don’t have access to basic medical treatment.

That was then… Latest outbreaks of swine flu are indicated on Google’s operated swine flu map.

Meanwhile Australia reported their 29th death swine flu patient out of about 11,000 confirmed cases nationwide. The last few patients that passed away lived in Sydney. Knowing that Australian health care is easy accessible to its citizens, we can no longer ignore that the swine flu is "only a poor men’s problem".

Add to that from the about 1000 confirmed cases in Malaysia, half are imported by tourists of which roughly half come from Australia.

For those who want to be better safe than sorry: avoid being in airports and avoid destinations to or hub airports between Australia and the rest of the world.

Do like me: avoid flying all together.
