G8’s fat hypocrits club
July 9th, 2008 by MM2H

How fat can a hypocrite get? Very fat!
It’s getting more and more easy these days to become a politician. All you have to do is:
- Say THIS and
- Do THAT
THIS
The G8 politicians spend the whole day discussing how to combat food poverty.
THAT
The G8 politicians indulge like pigs into a sumptuous eight-course dinner including:
- corn stuffed with caviar
- kelp-flavoured cold Kyoto beef shabu-shabu
- exotic sounding water shield and pick conger
- a selection of fine wines and champagne.
Whether our dearest British Mr. Brown finished everything on his plate, after earlier urging British families to cut down on their food waste, remains unknown.
Green house effect
If you have a greenhouse, it only takes little maintenance to keep it up and enjoy the heat it produces each and every time the sun shines.
The same greenhouse we have made around the world already. Even if you stop all emissions of carbon-dioxide, the greenhouse will keep on warming up the earth.
So cutting down 50% in 42 years is as much as a joke as stuffing your big belly and saying that the world has a problem with food: how can we solve that?
Agriculture and profit is to blame
If you know that the European Commission started as an agricultural entity, you know that lobbying against anything agriculture is more difficult than finding Osama Bin Laden.
Why people don’t have enough food is because:
- people don’t have a little piece of land to grow organic crop
- organic sustainable agriculture is changed into money and petrol intensive mono-cultures
- gosh, nobody cares if all those pesticides will give you liver cancer: that way the medical world can earn a few billion bucks as well
Simply put:
It’s easy to make way too much profit
when you don’t care what you leave behind.
Like it’s easy to burn down a rainforest with 1001 abundances to grow 1 stupid corn crop and the next year you need tons and tons of fertilizers as nothing is left anymore…
Amazingly: there was a rainforest with 1001 abundances able to sustain itself for more than 1001 years…
It would be an honour if Malaysia could lead the way and show the example. As we do have a prime minister that’s overly interested in agriculture. The task is simple:
- produce quality food the ways our ancestors have done
- reduce diseases due to eating only healthy food
- reduce environmental problems by using organic agriculture
This will lead to:
- less money spend on production
- less money spend on health care
- less money spend on cleaning up the environment
- more healthy people working harder
- a more beautiful environment attracting more tourists
I would be honoured if I could participate in any huge scale organic agricultural project making both each family as each society able to produce enough healthy food for ages to come.

Oil prices for dummies
June 14th, 2008 by MM2H
Why is Badawi still smiling?
Find out for yourself! You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to pass the test…
Meanwhile I filled up my tank of my car with gasoline: from a 3 digit number I now pay a 4 digit number…
The good thing about all this is that motorbike sellers are doing golden businesses: there sales is increasing kind of as much as the oil price is.
All this in a country that is a net exporter of oil… So let’s do the numbers:
Oil producers

- I produce lots of oil
- The international oil prices go up
- I make lots of money: I win
Non oil producers

- I don’t produce any oil
- The international oil prices hike the gasoline prices
- I loose lots of money: I loose
Badawi

- I produce lots of oil
- The international oil prices go up AND
I hike the gasoline prices - I make twice lots of money: I have a win win situation…

Girl in jail
May 14th, 2008 by MM2H

What do you do if you don’t want your girl in jail? There are over 119 Malaysian women in prison worldwide for drug offences and
- I agree with Dr. Mahathir when he says: westerners don’t understand us [Asians] at all.
No I don’t understand the idea of Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim wanting all Malaysian women traveling out
of the country alone to have a letter from parents or employers…
Please explain to me how that will stop a person from drug smuggling?
- I agree with Prime Minister Badawi when he says: bloggers shouldn’t focus on the bad things but be constructive
How not to get your girl in jail
Analyse the problem and try out different simple solutions.
If you don’t smuggle drugs, you cannot get arrested. But there are people that put a bag of drugs in your luggage without you noticing it. All you can do here is: lock your bags with decent locks (not cheap locks) and hope for the best.
2 ways you get into being arrested for drugs: customs open your bags or a drug dog sniffs you out.
1. Customs opening your bags…
Happens to me all the time when I fly from Malaysia to Australia: they love to ask me if I packed my own bags and confiscate all my Chinese medicine, I mean really: if you want my Tiger balm, why don’t you just say up front…
2. Dogs sniffing you out…
This already is a solution to the problem: if a dog sniffs your drugs before you board in Malaysia, then that’s again a few girls less in jail.
Of course dogs in Malaysia could become an issue and pointing to another Islamic country where dogs wander freely in the streets like Morocco is not going to solve it (although Malaysian ministers do love to compare themselves to other countries when talking about problems like "The price of rice in Malaysia is lower by at least three RM per kilogramme compared to Thailand and Indonesia, and much lower compared to Singapore," said Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Shahrir Abdul Samad yesterday." (See the food prices’ rise in Malaysia)
But 40% of the Malaysians aren’t Muslims, so at least you could use dogs on their luggage and having 40% less girls in jail already.
Education will help
It seems that some of the girls in jail got approached by a person saying: "you can fly for free if you can take these important documents with you"…
It would be easy for the Malaysian government who has lots of power over the media to educate people saying: "there is no such thing as a free meal, let alone a free flight".
Eradicate poverty will help
People living a hard life due to little money always love to gamble. Gambling for a quick gain in smuggling drugs could be prevented when people don’t have to gamble in order to sustain themselves. Of course this is a great theory, but not very practical to implement in a few days.
The other suggestions above are simple though and could be implemented whenever the government feels for it.
Conclusion
If I can in 10 minutes already give a few workable solutions to counter the amount of girls in jail, then why wouldn’t the government be able to come up with even better solutions in order to make sure Malaysia doesn’t get another Malaysian girl in jail overseas.
