The best news of today is that Balasubramaniam aka Bala is back. Or at least that’s what we assume because nobody really has seen him after he disappeared a few days ago.
But according to his nephew – R Kumaresan – Bala managed to make contact late last night via a short telephone call.
Of course with all the drama of the last few days (Bala is missing-Anwar Ibrahim’s annals-Altantuya+Najib) a few questions remain unclear:
- Can we believe this statement of R Kumaresan, or will it be retracted tomorrow?
- Is Bala really using an iPhone?
On a less funny note
- how sure can you be the person on the other end of the line was really Bala?
- was Bala speaking freely or was he pressured to make the statement he said on the phone?
- what about his wife and three children?
Too many unsolved questions to be entirely happy that Bala is back
