I heard PM Abdullah Badawi in the news saying that he will take measures in favour of all Malaysians…
Well, if you want to please all Malaysians in the Malaysian political landscape of today, you need to do know that :
- a bit more than 50% of the population is OK with what you are doing and
- a bit less than 50% of the population is NOT OK with what you are doing.
The only way in a situation like this to make sure everybody is heard is starting a dialogue. Something that didn’t need to be done before because hey, more than 90% approved Abdullah Badawi when he came in office!
Now with each person out of 2 unhappy, you need to talk to the other one. I mean, how is a tango going to look like when both of the dancers wants to do things their way? Impossible isn’t it?
