Malaysia goes nuclear?

June 23rd, 2008 by MM2H

To find a solution for the high oil prices, leaders of the world are quite, well, not really looking for solutions:

  • Saudi Arabia will produce a little bit more oil :but when you are running on full capacity, that’s not going to change much
  • US is opting to drill more, more, more offshore :now that is not going to solve the problem tomorrow is it? I mean it’s not like going to the groceries and get yourself a salad quick and easy.

Malaysia quotes DPM Najib:

"The prospect of Malaysia opting for nuclear technology cannot be discounted, only that we will look at other alternatives first"

Now you would expect Najib to be the first not to opt for explosive measures like nuclear energy…

…For those not familiar with Malaysia being in the tropics…

It’s hot here in Malaysia!

we have the sun right above our head
for about 12 hours a day.

Now that’s a lot of solar energy!

Mas Idayu mp3

June 19th, 2008 by MM2H

mas idayu mp3

Download our free Mas Idayu mp3 in case opposition party PAS (Parti Islam SeMalaysia) won’t allow her nor Malaysian rockstar Ella to perform on an upcoming football match between Selangor and Singapore…

Yes, in a country struck by high oil prices and an election that has shaken the country, PAS doesn’t loose focus and keeps on the lookout for indecent behavior.

Of course this opens the discussion: why deprive all Malaysians from watching Mas Idayu and Ella, the latter being Malaysian as well?

Anyway, next time most likely Singapore will host the football match and nobody will be bothered who is singing what and how as long as it is done in good fun.

Meanwhile you can download and listen to this Mas Idayu MP3.

Buy Buy Politics

June 19th, 2008 by MM2H

According to Badawi: the latest SAPP jump in no more supporting him is to be explained as follows:

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi says Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) President Datuk Yong Teck Lee’s latest action has been due to the fact that ‘I have not been able to satisfy his personal greed.’

We all know the basics of life:

  • Money talks
  • No such thing as a free lunch

Now if you still thing that politicians are only there for the benefits of the rakyak… Read again our post how 70 ministers and deputies are nicely enjoying 20Billion on entertainment allowances
alone… With that amount of allowances, who wouldn’t be happy sitting in Parliament helping the people?

So when these people are in for the money, then how much you need to pay to have them jump from one party to the other?

No such things as a free lunch

But the most important question is: who you need to pay back:

  • does the politician sell himself to Malaysia or
  • do the politician sell himself to a foreign country?

It’s no secret that Anwar Ibrahim has friends in the US.

The difference is: is your politician colonized by other Malaysians or by foreigners again?

The latter will color his decision-making in favor of the foreign country where the first would color his decision making in favor of another Malaysian.

Which one is better? The one that makes sure the country is thriving well on transparent fundamentals.

Oh, did we just use the "transparency" word… Which government worldwide is open for the challenge to be transparent in what they are doing…

And why do we vote for this to continue worldwide?

Shouldn’t we wave bye bye to this kind of politics once and for all?
