That reminds me it is almost 10 years ago that I couldn’t find decent things anymore in Yahoo and therefore switched to HotBot. 1 year later came Google and the rest is as they say history, whether you live in Malaysia or not

Former Malaysia Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had another heart surgery on
Saturday night because of a wound infection.

The surgical wound debridement (as far as I understand that word, it means cleaning up death tissue) was carried out on Dr Mahathir at 11.30pm on Saturday night and was completed at 2.30am Sunday.

Meanwhile my handphone has been spammed by messages saying that Dr M has died and other messages that all the rumors spread by messages on handphones are not true and that official statements will be made when necessary.

Now the latter is the major problem in Malaysia: Malaysian news will be given to you "when necessary", but you don’t have any idea about "necessary for who?".

There are also rumors (of course we only believe rumors because the Malaysian newspaper will only report what is necessary for we don’t know who…): the rumors say that the rivalry between Mahathir and his successor Abdullah causes his heart to tick quite irregular…

Therefore I advice Mahathir to retire in peace, and apply for Malaysia My Second Home. I works fine for my health!

The inventor of Malaysia’s vision 20/20 Dr Mahathir is in hospital and has undergone some heart surgery.

For those who don’t know vision 20/20: it’s a secret joke of Dr Mahathir but everybody believes it is the date 2020 that Malaysia will become a developed country. Why that needs to wait until 2020 when it’s neighbour Singapore already has that stage is very unclear to us.

Unclear is the key word here: as when you go to the eye doctor: if you see unclear, your vision won’t be 20/20. Same with Malaysia: if nobody has a clear direction where to lead this oil rich country;: it will never be able to compete with his little neighbour Singapore (not having any natural resources what so ever, mind you!).

And if you cannot compete with your own neighbour, how do you want to end up getting respect on the world stage?

It’s sad that Dr M is no more on the international stage, as at least he was a person with a big mouth who dared to say wise things!

We wish Dr M a good recovery, and we wish Malaysia get’s another PM like him who can lead the country for another 22 years. It’s not that Dr M is perfect, but at least he had 1 direction, now nobody has any idea where Malaysia is going to, unless if you point to the drain…
