The danger with buying property in Malaysia is that you have no clue what the contractor has been doing. Why? Because nobody can be made responsible.

In the west: if anything goes wrong with my house, I will sue the architect. Everybody agrees that the end responsibility of a property is in the hands of the architect.

In Malaysia however architects are saying that they cannot be responsible…

Simple logic tells you that if you cannot hold the architect responsible, then who are you going to complain to?

Having purchased more than one property overseas, I must say in Malaysia you are on your own once something goes wrong with your property. Sad to say that they have a Malaysia My Second Home program in place but except for the word "home" in the program’s name, you don’t get any benefits for your property.

Many of us would have been aware of the worldwide spread of swine flu through the printed media and television.

Most of us have taken the necessary preventive steps to try to avoid getting infected by regularly washing hands and staying away from crowded places. Some of us have cancelled our travel plans that would have entailed spending time in crowded airports and airplanes, hence reducing the speed of the swine flu outbreak.

Tamiflu is an effective way of treating the swine flu and governments all over the world has been stockpiling this drug for their eventual use.

If you would like to ensure that you have a supply of Tamiflu, ask your local or national government for information as the demand for the drug has increased tremendously as the swine flu continues to spread worldwide.
