The houses that make up Sunway Rahman Putra, a new development by SunCity, are specifically designed in a tropical style that makes a connection with nature, says senior managing director Dato' CK Wong. "We have dubbed this location our signature project because the design and layout, right down to the colour scheme, have been thoroughly thought out. They are designed to enhance the lifestyle and celebrate the environment in which they are built," he says. Sunway Rahman Putra sprawls over 8.6 hectares of prime, elevated freehold land, from which residents can view the golf course below. The NKVE and the LDP expressways, Sungai Buloh Highway and Middle Ring Road, are all easily accessible, says Wong. The development, which consists of 41 double-storey bungalows and 112 courtyard houses, is designed in a natural tropical Balinese style. This is reinforced by the work of landscape designer Made Wijaya, who added a special Balinese touch through flowering shrubs and artistic stonework, says Wong. "All the houses were designed with a tranquil atmosphere in mind. Water fountains in the gardens add to the picture of serenity. The homeowner should feel as if he or she is stepping into spa-like surroundings." Sunway Rahman Putra is located in Sungai Buloh and adjoins the Bulit Rahman Golf and Country Club. The development is surrounded by other established projects such as Valencia, Cosmo West, Ascot Hill and Castilla. The double-storey bungalows come in four designs – Cinnamon, Tarragon, Caraway and Tamarind. Each bungalow has five bedrooms with attached bathroom, a study, a family room and a guest room. The formal living and dining areas are on the ground floor, as is a storeroom, maid's quarters and wet and dry kitchen. "The bungalows were specially designed to enhance the lifestyles of discerning homeowners," says Wong. "A jacuzzi attached to the master bedroom is ideal for those who want to lie back and relax after a taxing day at work. An outdoor shower area provides a great place for a refreshing wash down after a round of golf or other recreational activity." All bungalows feature cross ventilation, a solar water system and a wide frontage with ample room for four cars on a concrete stamped terrace. The gross built-up area of the bungalows ranges from 409m2 to 605m2. Courtyard houses come in three dimensions - Superlink 26' x 95', Superlink 27' x 95' and Superlink 28' x 95', and have a gross built-up area of between 317m2 and 424m2. All have four bedrooms, with a study and a family room. Like the bungalows, they have cross ventilation. The frontage is wide enough to accommodate two cars. The courtyard houses were designed in the style of traditional Baba Nyonya houses, says Wong. As the name suggests, each house features a central interior courtyard. Detailed interior finishes show the care that has gone into the planning and construction, says Wong. The living and dining areas of the bungalow feature marble flooring. The bedrooms have timber floors, and the kitchen and bathroom areas are tiled. Externally the car porch and terrace have distinctive concrete stamping. Twenty-four hour security, alarm systems, phone and internet points in all rooms and motion detector lights are other features. "As with other SunCity developments, this project is a boon for homeowners and investors. The easy accessibility, established location and aesthetic values of these exclusively designed homes offer discerning purchasers the best of a contemporary lifestyle," says Wong. |
